| Ray R. Wickersham, 86,
formerly of 4590 Homeworth Road, Homeworth, died at 6:49 p.m. Friday
at Blossom Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. He had
been a resident of Blossom Nursing Center eight years. Mr. Wickersham was born in West Township, Columbiana County, Jan. 5, 1901 to Emery and Emma Walker Wickersham. He was a life resident of the Alliance area. A Methodist, Mr. Wickersham retired in 1967 from the Alliance Machine Co. where he worked 17 years as a carpenter. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Eglie of Homeworth; two sons Leonard A. Wickersham of Homeworth and Ray Dean Wickersham of Salem (Ohio); 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth C. on July 22, 1979 and two brothers and three sisters. Services will be at 1 p. m. Monday at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home where calling hours will be from 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. |
