| Concerning Paul (Sr)'s
birth date, there was always a question about the exact date, which may
have been as he remembered it, as his mother remembered it, as the
county had it registered, or, as a family Bible reference that appeared
to be added somewhat later. All the different dates were within a
few days. Jane McKenna, Paul's daughter, writes an email, April 4, 2012, as follows: "Dad was born at home and never was sure he was reported correctly but.....October 18th is on (the county) record......" Jane McKenna, Paul's daughter, writes an email, April 6, 2012, as follows: "I just remember him alluding that there was no hurry to report his birth....We will never know for sure....."     |
